In this example, I illustrated and hand-lettered song lyrics from the beautiful and haunting song “Cities beneath the sea” by Gravenhurst and printed a one-off poster. Grainy textures add a vintage feel and character to the crisply hand-drawn letters. The pastel colour palette was chosen to fit the mood that the song creates for me personally.

Then I work out the style of hand lettering and details such as 3d effects and shading.
